West Ham would be open to selling Issa Diop in the summer transfer window if Manchester United make a £60m offer for the defender, according to Sky Sports
The France Under-21 international has been heavily linked with a move to the 20-time English champions over the past couple of weeks as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to improve his defensive options.
The Red Devils boss is thought to be eager to improve his options at center-half and right-back ahead of his first full Premier League season in charge of the club.
Diop impressed for the Hammers after West Ham signed the 22-year-old in a club record £22m deal from Ligue 1 side Toulouse last summer.
Sky Sports News reporter Solhekol has taken to Twitter to reveal that West Ham would be open to selling the French talent if Manchester United were to make a bid in the region of £60m.
Solhekol wrote on Twitter:
“Source close to Issa Diop says West Ham would sell him for £60m. Manchester United, PSG and Barcelona have contacted his representatives.
“West Ham want a Manchester United player as part of a potential deal. United not willing to give West Ham the player they want.”
Diop scored five times in 85 games in three seasons for his boyhood club Toulouse before he moved to West Ham in a big-money deal last summer.
Manchester United have also been linked with Leicester City defender Harry Maguire and Tottenham center-half Toby Alderweireld in the summer.
The Red Devils finished in the sixth spot in the Premier League table last term.
