Paul Pogba starred in his latest adidas campaign as the Manchester United launched season four of his own collection.
The limited edition items, which go on sale on Saturday, see the France ace’s name emblazoned on the sole of trainers while another stand-out item includes the Predator 18+ boots.
But those two items, and most of the bits in this latest collection, each are set to retail around £200 to £300 which forces United fans to dig deep in their pockets or miss out on the weekend drop.
Pogba has been consistent in launching fresh products with adidas having shown off his season three footwear at the start of October with a gritty photoshoot in the suburbs of Paris.
The latest designs come in a black and olive colour, with the boot version featuring a gold base and and two-tone gold and red stripes.
As a combination, the design is said to ‘reflect Pogba’s unique personality and creativity both on and off the pitch.’
Pogba has become one of the world’s most marketable players and he and adidas have enjoyed rich successes from his opening three collections.
But the latest batch come at a time when his long-term future at the club appears up in the air and with the outlay significant in the run up to Christmas, many fans will have to give the Predator staple pieces a miss.
