Pogba makes some fans day as Red Devils touch down in Norway ahead of Kristiansund clash

Paul Pogba made time for Manchester United fans upon arrival in Norway on Monday, as the Red Devils touched down ahead of their upcoming clash with Kristiansund.

United are in the homeland of manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, as they look to conclude their pre-season preparations.

As the players made their way into the training facilities ahead of their session, masses of supporters waited outside in hope of getting pictures and autographs from their idols.

Despite being heavily linked with a summer exit, Pogba patiently gave his time to the fans before making his way inside with team-mates.

The Frenchman has been tipped to join Real Madrid, or make an emotional return back to former club Juventus, though United appear to be holding firm with their stance on retaining their best players.

On the pitch, Solskjaer watched on as his side were put through their paces.

Youngsters Angel Gomes and Andreas Pereira threw themselves into the thick of the action, looking to impress as the team played a short-sided match inside the Ullevaal Stadion.

United will meet Kirstiansund inside the same stadium on Tuesday, with kick-off scheduled for 6pm.

One man not present was Romelu Lukaku, who has been granted time off by Solskjaer ahead of a potential move to Inter Milan.

The Italian club have been increasing their intensity to sign Lukaku, but have so far been knocked back in their attempt.

The move appeared to hit a snag on Monday, after Inter club president Beppe Marotta suggested the club will not be increasing their offer for the Belgian.

It is understood Lukaku has been the subject of a failed €60million (£54m) bid by Inter, with United giving the Serie A giants a deadline to agree a deal.
