Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is preparing to give Mason Greenwood his second senior start for Manchester United on Thursday.
The Red Devils face Astana in their Europa League opener and the United boss wants to give the 17-year-old a chance to impress according to The Sun.
Greenwood scored 30 goals in 29 games for the United academy teams last campaign.
The teenage sensation started his first game for the club in United’s 2-0 defeat to Cardiff on the final day of the Premier League last season.
This campaign Solskjaer has brought the youngster on as a sub in four of United’s league games.
