The Manchester United squad gathered at the Hilton Garden Inn on the eve of their must-win clash with Arsenal.
Jose Mourinho’s side rocked up at their new meeting point late on Tuesday evening as they put the final touches to their preparations ahead of the eagerly-anticipated Premier League encounter.
United’s new hotel meeting point is situated less than half a mile from Old Trafford and is only a 10-minute walk from the ground.
Following previous travel disasters from the Lowry Hotel that saw their preparation time shredded ahead of their opening two home Champions League clashes, United have acted quickly to change their meeting point.
Meanwhile, Mourinho once again goes into the crunch clash with Arsenal under plenty of pressure following United’s 2-2 draw with struggling Southampton on the weekend.
The result has left them eight points off fourth-placed Arsenal after just 14 games this season.
And Mourinho’s relationship with Pogba continues to make the headlines.
The midfielder was slated by his manager in the away dressing room at St Mary’s for being reckless in possession and, it was reported over the weekend, labelled ‘a virus’ by his boss.
But Sportsmail understands Mourinho was more general in his criticism as he raged against a fall in standards and discipline from his players, saying he, as manager, wasn’t the only one to blame for recent performances.
Mourinho will be desperate for his players to put on a performance at Old Trafford on Wednesday night against Unai Emery’s rejuvenated Gunners side, who are coming off the back of their thrilling 4-2 win over North London rivals Tottenham.
