Manchester United are ready to increase their offer to £50million for Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
United have had a £40m bid for Wan-Bissaka rejected by Palace, but are ready to up their offer for the England Under-21 international.
Boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has identified Wan-Bissaka, 21, as the man to fill the right-back void at United long-term.
Antonio Valencia’s summer exit, Ashley Young’s age and Diogo Dalot’s relative inexperience have led United to pursue Wan-Bissaka as their first-choice right-back.
Although Palace value Wan-Bissaka at £60m, United believe they have a chance of landing him for £50m, which would test Palace’s resolve to hold out for a bigger fee.
