Manchester United have got Kieran Trippier on their hit-list if they cannot get Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer.
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants a right back as a priority and Crystal Palace ’s Wan-Bissaka is in demand with Manchester City also watching developments.
Palace are reluctant to let both star winger Wilfried Zaha and highly-rated Wan-Bissaka go in the same summer so United are looking at options.
United believe Tottenham may be willing to sell Trippier this summer as Mauricio Pochettino looks to shake up his squad and fund his own spending spree which will include a move for Fulham ’s Ryan Sessegnon.
England star Trippier has admitted he has struggled for form this season but his performances at the World Cup from set pieces and also his delivery of the ball made him one of the best full backs at the tournament.
United are set to lose Antonio Valencia this summer as the veteran goes on a free and Wan-Bissaka would be a huge coup but they are also keeping close tabs on Trippier.
Wan-Bissaka has enjoyed a terrific season for Palace as an attacking right back and is seen as an England star of the future.
United are looking for additions in a host of positions with a central defender at the top of their list of priorities.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is also keen on bringing in an attacking wide player with England youngster Jadon Sancho on United’s radar – although Borussia Dortmund are likely to demand a huge fee.
