Manchester United star Ander Herrera has hit out at the behaviour of some team-mates since the sacking of Jose Mourinho.
Plenty of players have been vocal in their criticisms of the Portuguese boss since he was sacked last December.
The likes of Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, Phil Jones and Alexis Sanchez have all made comments suggesting problems under Mourinho since his departure.
Yet Herrera has refused to follow suit – and admitted he “detests” the behaviour of players in slamming their former boss.
“It’s been a difficult year, because we did not have the expected start,” Herrera told Spanish newspaper El Periódico de Aragón .
“I do not like to make comparisons and I detest when the players speak ill of a coach who has already left.
“I only have words of thanks to Mourinho, he has made me better, I played a lot with him and I was named the best player of the season with him on the bench.”
Herrera has nonetheless hailed the impact of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Old Trafford – specifically his relationship with their players.
He continued: “From there, what Solskjaer has done is incredible, because of the streak of 14 victories in 19 games that the team has and especially for the relationship he has achieved with the players.
“Many times we go crazy with the tactics or the way to counteract the rivals and the most difficult thing is to click with the players, that we believe, we trust and we are to death with him.”
Herrera nonetheless looks like he could be set for a summer exit to Paris Saint-Germain with strong rumours he is close to agreeing a deal with the French giants as his contract at Old Trafford expires in the summer.
