Matteo Darmian has posted a positive message looking forward to Manchester United’s Champions League game with Juventus, but fans were left very confused at the timing of the message.
That is because United faced Juventus on Tuesday night – two days before Darmian’s post – and don’t face the Old Lady again for another two weeks.

Darmian posted a message to his Twitter and Instagram profiles with the message: “Looking forward to.. #ucl #mufc” with an image of himself sitting in front of a Champions League logo.
Even teammate Andreas Pereira was left confused by the post, as he commented on Instagram: “Bro me too but it’s a bit early no?” with a laughing emoji.
Fans were equally perplexed, offering theories as to why Darmian posted two days after the first of two games with Juve.
